I've spen two days stripping the engine, box (don't intend to use it but it was easier to remove attached LOL), miles of wiring loom (way more than I need, but better safe than sorry), alarm and immobiliser from the car - I don't intend to fit the alarm but I haven't had the time to see where it's been spliced in, and hence where to remove it.

Could I have missed anything? I haven't removed the actual ignition barrel although I wasn't sure if I needed it[:s] The car's getting binned on Wednesday...

all you need is the ecu loom from fusebox to ecu! if your car isnt a gti then you'll need some wire for the fuel pump too

if its post-96 with immob then you need the key, immob box and the wiring from it. dont forget the vag-com port and all its wires too. key reader may as well get but these same on all so no big deal
