I've found my ABF top hose coolant flange is cracked, I was told by VW they are obsolete and I cant seem to find them from any other after market source. Has anyone else on here had the same problem or does anyone know where I can get one???

Have a word with Mr Hillclimber (Jason) on here, from memory he does a fabricated water outlet for 16v that may get you out of trouble mate

I had to pay through the nose for it in the end via Deutsh Parts on ebay. I cant rememeber the part number off the top of my head but i'll update with it soon.

They were the only people I could find to supply it :(

037 121 133 J is an older part number, 037 121 132 J is the replacement. both still listed as obsolete on my etka?

jamez: thats a kr/9a one, wont fit ABF

Available at mecatechnic.com but they have just bumped the price from 16.61 to 17.
Ordering is a bit random as you have to wait until they give you a quote for postage, took 6 hours before the email arrived.
I did get something else, brand new original Mk3 16v grille badge 10!

They have quite a bit of tasty stuff we struggle to find new, tempted by this:
    Italvolanti 365 mm sigl "16V" only 69
-thats only 58, seen these go for a lot more used
