    Hi everyone!

I am having a bit of a trouble swapping 2E for ABF in my Passat. AFAIK, G1/3 pin should be directly connected to ECU pin 6. My loom, however, has a most peculiar deviation. G1/3 is connected to a red 2-pin female plug. The second pin in there happens to be connected to ECU pin 6. So the fuel pump relay control circuit is broken. I thought that just cutting a red plug off and binding wires together is not the right way to solve this.

this is fitted for dealer fit alarm systems, on non-alarm cars there is a mating plug fitted with a loop of wire to rejoin the wires. if there is enough slack sometimes you can pop out the ecu side and fit it direct to g1/3 :)
