as the title suggests, im not the most mechanically minded but am tackling the driveshaft seal on the gear box, i already have the drive shaft undone at the flange(as the bolts sheared off earlier in the week) how do i go about removing the splined part from the gearbox? and is it really as simple as removing the old seal cleaning up the area and placing the new one in?

    all advice gratefully recieved:thumbup:

To remove the flange from the box undo the hex bolt in the middle of it and pull it out. The seal can then be levered out.
