fit it yourself, it should come with instructions if it's boxed up and new.

my Toad was fitted for less than the 379.99 above, but I cant remember how much now. It can seem quiet complicated but I'd recomend fitting them your self the getting it certified.

shop around, i got a quote this morning for the ai606 at 280 fitted.

fitting yourself is all well and good, but the insurance wont recognise it if it is cat 1 or 2

but for 30 odd quid they will certify that it has been fitted correctly and conforms to cat 1 standards with a cert for the insurance.

if you want the thatcham approval you have to have it fitted by an installer, try garry@ami-incar.com (Elite Essex) he did mine for 245 fitted, tell him i (luca)recommended him to you, he should do you a good deal and is a sound guy!

Not entirely true..... I paid 140 for my Ai606, then fitted it myself.
Went down to my local VSIB fitter & paid 30 for them to do an inspection & certificate of conformance.

    Now fully Thatcham approved.

Thats what I'm doing with my second hand Concept 600UK but my local Clifford installer wants 45 to issue a cert and all he has to do is pulg his laptop in the dataport above the center console, press a couple of buttons and the job is done.
