right iam getting bord of not getting this fixed !
the alarm is a piranha the problem is i prime the alarm (on) and then after around a min the alarm goes off... so i have no alarm or immo atm!

ive traced all the wires and there are two that are very concerning, one is a very thin green and yellow wire that comes out the back of the alarm/immob and just hangs loose *see pic below

ive tryed connecting it to the pos on the battery and the negative with no luck.

i also found this wire it seem to have quite a thick shiney plastic coating, its about 3 meters long this also comes from the back of the alarm and through the bulkhead , i found it just under the carpet next to the passenger side door, the wire just seem to end....

I`m not sure what yellow/green could be for, but the other one would appear to be the `aerial`.

its for the alarm, so the remotes work from a distance, that green and yellow wire doesnt go to the bonnet switch at all ?

...or if it`s been installed `properly`, it`ll be up near the scuttle... ;)

And, yes, the aerial is for the alarm. That`s how your remote fob works...radio frequency...

does that green/yellow wire come from the alarm unit or from inside the car,it would be so much easier j if you got a model number from it,then we could get a wiring diagram
