for loading to mi ipod? i think itunes is absolute shiz, infact i hate it. now to make matters worse, the laptop battery and charger failed within a short period and took all that was on the computer with it for some reason, meaning the tunes i had on my ipod are whats left (not worried about the stuff i bought, its the stuff i converted from vinyl to mp3), is there anyway of adding the music from the ipod to the itunes library....or is there an alternative to itunes with will do what i want it to? cheers in advance.
iPhoneBrowser and iPhoneExplorerPC may help i'm using iTunes to sync. my songs only and using iPhone PC Suite for the rest (adding custem touns, installing .ipa files etc ) http://www.softpedia.com/get/Mobile-Phone-Tools/IPhone/iPhone-Explorer.shtml http://www.softpedia.com/get/Mobile-Phone-Tools/IPhone/iPhoneBrowser.shtml http://www.softpedia.com/get/Mobile-Phone-Tools/IPhone/iPhone-PC-Suite.shtml change the language to english for iPhone-PC-Suite
Banshee on linux, is good simple easy to use and will snyc to anything without erasing all the stuff already there, handy if your computer is toast. Also if you wish to copy the contents of an ipod that is not sync to your computer - go to my computer, ipod properties and select show hidden files. the hidden files are your music/photos/videos. so theres no need for fancy software to regain what you already have.
