so who is a good insurance company who will allow mods but wont rape you for money?

my dilemma is at the moment 23 and im the second driver under my dads policy on a honda (fronting i know!) but i want a golf gti 8v (16v= insurance!) and maybe stick my mam on as second driver to start on my own ncb and all i want to do is get some rims and maybe lower it nothing else- ive had a good quote of 700 f/c with elephant but i dont think they allow mods- so who is good to go with for a few mods?- i hear companys like adrian flux are expensive cos they know they are popular when it comes to lads wanting to mod their cars-so they can take advantage of this!

    help!

ring up flux and find out. shouldn't be worse than elephant.

also why not go for as TPFT rather than fully comp.

Try Brentacre on 01792 650933 during office hours - mention ClubGTI.

yup liverpoolvictoria don't care what you do as long as you don't modify the engine. But the woman on the phone said I could probably get away with a performance airbox! ;)

I am with Directline. 1000 fully comp on a 16v. My car is standard so its not a problem for me. Maybe if money is an issue forget the mods and look for a satndard 8v/16v with bbs alloys. Best of both worlds then
