not bad for 900. at that age and mileage practically all the bushes will need to be done, so will dampers if theyve not been done already. they last forever, mine is on 196k now

welcome.hmm, 900 weasels...depends on how well its been looked after really. 130k is alot in my opinion. if its got a decent service history though id go for it.

actually quite like the mk4 alloys on it!

Good buy for 900 quid mate.. especially in black... quite rare. At 130 K its probably just about worn in :)

My rear window went. Got a 20 mechanism from the scrappy.. easy to fix despite haynes giving it a 4 spanner rating... And im a crap mechanic!

I can vouch for the bushes. Mines on 119k and it handles like a trout out of water.. needs rebushing.

Make sure you check its had regular oil changes and services as 16v's are driven pretty hard.

    Otherwise go for it

EDIT. I have some BBS RX II's (16x6.5 ET42) if you want them. spent over 600 quid on, then i brought some anni ones... wasn't really worth it for half an inch of width ;)

Thanks guys, will a regular FSH cover it?
I guess oil changes more frequently are even better but its just been serviced on schedule

I took my MK3 16v off the road @185.000 mile and was still going like well.
Going to put the engine in my mk2 when i have the time.

If well looked after they just keep on going.

fsh means diddly squat, just judge the car how you see it but tbh engine wise they are pretty damn death proof

i cane my cane pretty damn hard but its looked after so it just goes on and on. i wanted to crack 200k miles before 2009

mine has oil changes ever 5k-6k, i might leave it in a touch longer this time because it has been doing more motorway miles than thrashing tbh.

the other week it got 44.something mpg going up to cheshire, average over 220 miles. cracking lil engine
