no, im afriad im talking about the pedal version,

im looking to get a decent bike as i will need one for next year, can any one recommend a good bike, either makes to search for on ebay, or if you havve one for sale?! ;)

i used to have a GIANT mountain bike, that was pretty nice but has taken a bit of a battering and not really road worthy!

i like the look of trials type bikes, so that what im looking for, chunnky tyres, angled cross bar (sloping down toward the back) if you get what i mean, front shocks,

    and ideas?

    tim

    EDIT: a bit like this:

if you're not gonna be trialling, don't buy a trials bike.

i'm a fan of saracen myself.

    also consider trek and specialized......

it needs painting but the frame is solid.....forks need a service.

got loads of other parts i could probably knock a bike together for you or one thats nearly complete.....got xtr gear set, dk stem, answer bars, xt hubs, mavic rims.

be a little project but there is a 600 bike in there somewhere ;)

trailstar frames are the nuts, you couldnt buy one for the price recardo wants for the bike, and the magura on the back is worth 50 new and im not sure what the front disk is, but has to be more than 80 new........so thats well over the askin price already!

if i had 200 spare id snap that up!;)

mines also forsale, but for 400, light as f**k (alu version) specced for general street stuff thoits more of an xc/dh bike, it gobbled up most street stuff tough!

klein mantra - now how many of them have you seen forsale?;)

    sh1tty pics tbh..

other wise the specialised P3 you suggested earlier isnt bad, nor are konas.

i think gt have run a dirt jump style bike fora little while, which isnt bad, but the one i rode was heavy as f**k. cheap enough tho....

    yeah that looks good mate.....

i rode a trailstar for about 2 years after snapping my aluminium GT zaskar. I dont trust any frame other than steel and i've been using DMR bikes ever since.

the new ones come with bmx bottom brackets so you can get nice chunky chainsets.

there a little heavier but much stonger.

keep an eye on it mate,

how many bikes you got then recardo?

i love the klein, and realistically i wouldnt want to sell, its my 1st 'proper' bike and has outlasted anything else ive had.

want to make a proper build of it this summer! slap a set of hope disks on and a deacent set of forks and itll be fresh again!

tbh tim, the trailstar is one of the best bikes around. have you looked at any of the identiti bikes? think its called the dr.jeckyll or similar, dont think they were much more then 400 - 500 ish last time i looked.....

god i havent ridden properly for ages! kinda got off track with BMX recently....
