Hi, I've just found this forum and it seems to have very good info !

I'm from canada and I own a mk2 gti 1.8t. The car is used for solosprint and very little on the streets.

I was running a koni yellow suspension but I want to upgrade to something else since the shocks have 10 years or so.

I was thinking about buying the 8611 doudle adjustable koni insert for the front and convert my strut body into a coilover. For the rear, I would keep my koni yellow (damper adjustable) but I'll have them revalved for the higher spring rate I'm going to use. I'll convert them to coilover too.

I'll be using 550# springs at the front and I don't konw for the rear yet

Once all done, this setup will cost me around 1000$ canadian. So around 500

what do you guys think of this setup ?

    Any input would be appreciated.

    thanks
    Maxime
