Wired this unit up so it switches off when ignition key removed from the barrel. This is great, but, the unit only has 3 electrical connections, 2 inputs, live and earth, and 1 output for electric aerial (blue wire)(plus obvious speaker wires). So, because it doesn’t have a permanent live it keeps forgetting some, but not all of the radio presets. Which is weird? I’m wondering if in the absence of a permanent live it has a battery to back this up (which now needs replacing). Doesn’t really explain why it’s only losing half of the presets though. Over to you guys?
