Anyone know what this spare 3 prong plugs is for? Also got a sensor connector under the distributor with nothing connected to it? There's no sensor to the expansion bottle either? Thanks!
3 pin if its blue/white, brown and black is for electronic speedometer coolant tank wiring would be in the engine loom running from the coolant level warning control relay 42 or 43 clipped above the fusebox. its only there for GTI and some diesels, so if the car was a non-gti it wouldnt have been there. if it was a gti the loom builder may not have left it in there or he used a non-gti loom as a base the 2 pin white plug there is for aircon so you can ignore it. if you want to get rid of it entirely get a mk2 16v side flange it wont have a hole in
