Right then everyone, this months topic is Springtime chosen by last months winner, Delyth. I think this is a good topic and will give everyone a chance as its broad! Same rules apply as usual - 1) If you've signed up to the forum, you can enter. 2) Photos to me (antinkariba) by 30th April please. They can be PM'd, or e-mailed (PM me for my address), or you can PM me the link to where it's hosted. I will acknowledge receipt of the photo within 24hours; if I don't, chase me with a PM. 3) JPEG format only, at 72dpi. The limit will be 1024 pixels width and/or height. 4) If possible please strip the exif data from the picture, this makes it an anonymous entry. This can be done in Photoshop by "saving it for web & devices". If you are unable to do this, or resize it, don't worry - sent me the photo anyway, i'll sort it out. 5) The photo should be one taken from now, ie. the start of the competition, not something you've already done. 6) A small to moderate amount of Photoshopping is allowed. So sensible cropping and adjustments of levels, for example, will be tolerated; as will cloning (if you're merely getting rid of small imperfections). This is a photo contest, not a Photoshop contest. Good luck and let the games begin!
The serious sams won't like this one, too much interpretation for springtime, hell, I haven't a clue what you'd photograph for it....
Easy least subject so grab your cameras and get out there to get your shot and enjoy this glorious weather!
Im liking the subject this month, should provide some decent entries! Had plenty of pics I could of taken this morning but didnt have my camera with me and I was too busy exercising anyway! Hopefully the weather will be nice next weekend as I'm taking the camera to a place which would be ideal for grabbing some snaps for this!
Springtime!?! Spring has long gone...it`s 23deg in Manchester right now! (I`ll be sure to try and come up with something though! )
It is a good topic, summer would be a rubbish topic but you really have to think about what represents spring, got a few ideas and If I can get a decent pic with my rubbish camera Ill enter.
Do anyone know where the voting for the May 'springtime' pics is? Have I missed it or has Ant gone on his hols?
He was kciking about yesterday... might just be Royal Wedding festivities kicking in, hahaha... either that or a seriously nice weekend to get out and at it
