Are brakes always this difficult?

    Everyone ignore fabio, he's talkin rubbidh.

    Blowtorch heat on brake pipes is fine, done it loads of time, seen it doens loads of times, never a prob ;)

    A decent set of brake pipe spanners is a must too!!! [:D] [:D]

    the ends were too rusted for even a decent spanner to have made an impression...
    in other news, the front lines + flexi hoses are now on, just the rears to do (when i get the parts)

    i got myself some braided goodrige hoses for my car so should never brake and if they do, i belive they have a life times garentee so i get a free replacement

    quality [:D]

    i got the same, but the rear hoses are wrong for a driver :(

    oh yeah, does anyone know what the part number is for the little clip that goes between the hard line and the bracket that the flexi hose sits in? is's a C shaped clip

    hi i did a rear disk conversation didn't have any problem removing brake lines. are you sure you where using the right spanner size

    well the simplest PROBILLY NOT CHEEPEST is to put proformance brake lines into your car

    Dont know the part no but there only a couple of pence from the dealers, the clips that hold the flexis in the bracket on the chassis/floorpan?

    woo, got the last flexi hose off! generous applications of rust eater, wd40 and a hammer did the trick :)
