are p slots worth anything?

Who made the p-slots with the 8 p's on them 15x6. (with the alloy centre caps)

I know Ronal made the ones with 9 p's 15x5.5 as I have a set.

And what was the story regarding copyright etc.

mates just bought mk1gti wiv p slots. he wants to take the laquer coating off them and get them all shiny. Any ideas how he would do it?

 

oh never mind they were 14's with 3 centre caps (the one left was painted black) with 2 flat tyres

If you polish the wheels to that finish, how do you get that finish on the centre caps? (assuming they're plastic?)

 

you get the metal caps from the teardrop alloys and use those.

and getting the caps for the teardrops is a challenge in itself!

 

apparently the teardrop caps dont fit. mine are 15" and they also take the same caps at 14". i was told that there was somewhere that sell the caps online and i know that the 15" version with 8p's have a alloy caps but these would not fit my wheels as they are locking.

the bad thing with poloshing p slots is the whn it comes to around the p's and the fact of getting centre caps.
