Are these High Tensile Bolts

Weird question but does anyone know if these bolts are high Tensile ???

Got a pack and cant see any markings on them,,,being used for vauxhall calipers on my mk1

find a local or online fastner shop and make sure you use the right thing

they will have 10.9 /12.9 stamped on the head when you find the proper ones

 

They're just shi77y old zinc mild steel crap. Don't put them anywhere near your brakes lol

 

No, any self respecting H/T bolt has a number eg. 8.8 forged on the top of it.

Don`t buy bolts for your car from a DIY store...

Find a decent motor factors or proper hardware store.

 

Type 'Unbrako' into Google - they could hold the ****ing universe together

And it wouldnt suprise me if the OEM bolts were Unbrako to start with!

 

Find a proper fastener supplier - either local or online. They'll have what you need.
