are they worth buying? I was looking on ebay and came across some, they seem a good idea but surely if someone wanted to get in they'd lever the handle off easy enough, with or without them? Someone told me they had them and someone ripped their handle off and instead of there being little damage there was a massive hole in the door because of the plate was there
If someone's determined to get in, they will. All I know is the plates stop opportunist attempts on Mk1's and Mk2's. Oh, and if you've already been attempted, it covers up the damage Al
i locked my keys in my mk1 with gen. door plates fitted and had to rip handle off, took very little effort and left only slight damage which bent back. i would recomend fitting genuine plates and replace outer handle screw with security bolt
