Hi all After a bit of advice I've bought a PD diesel engine I was told it is an ASZ code Unfortunately it has no cam cover on so cant see the engine code. Does it have it stamped on anywhere else? I know 20vt's have it on the head but cant see it on this..... Also, its from a 2002 GTTDi MK4 Golf, will it fit in my 2007 Caddy van...??? Thanks, Gavin
Mine has ASZ stamped on the block with the engine number; on the front of the block, to the right of the filter housing near the gearbox flywheel inspection hole there should be a machined surface with 'ASZ12345'.
