Just a quick question about a conversion.

I'm hoping to get an Audi TT 2004 3.2 V6 engine (code BHE) from a car being broken because of a DSG faulty gearbox. I will be using a VR6 gearbox with it as that is what i have in my Mk1 Golf at the moment.

I know i am going to have to get the ECU tweaked to remove the immobiliser and other bits not needed, but will not having a DSG gearbox cause me any problems or is this part of the 'tweak' to tell the car it's now 2wd rather than 4wd?

I will be using the original TT clocks and will get the keys and ignition lock with the engine, but the main concern is the DSG!

    Cheers
