Surely we were taught to anticipate traffic lights changing to red and to adjust road speed accordingly?

I can see drivers speeding up trying to beat the countdown timer and lights making this simply redundant technology immediately.

What should be incorporated is an ejector seat to deploy whenever the traffic light is 'jumped' at red.

I like this idea. I've always thought that replacing airbags with metal spikes would slow people down a bit.

Be a better idea if it could make the drivers indicate or teach them lane discipline or the meaning of give way signs.
Audi drivers have replaced BMW drivers as the most arrogant twats on the roads
