What are the running costs like with an early Audi S3?

I know the serviceing includes the heldex diff oil change and stuff which makes it more expensive but i wondered what i could expect to pay and how frequently does the service light tend to come on?

Is MPG and relaibility anything to worry about?

lots of people know here too!...well a few!

Depends if you go main dealer or not?

And of course, all depends on how reliable your car is

Expect to 200-300 ish for servcing, tyres 100-150 per corner, and expect no more than 30mpg on mixed run.

don't forget that when one of your Xenon lights fails (ballast & bulb) its 700 to replace!!:o

luckily i was given a spare unit

also, roll bar bushes tend to go on higher milers, and electrical faults aren't unheard of.

They ARE expensive to run, alot more than my Integra Type R was

the talk of haldex FWD failiures and replacement engines failiures is enough to put me off, these problems seem rare but very expensive if you unlucky!

all roads lead me back to a civic type r! fast reliable, comparitvly cheap to run but one of a crowd
