wanted 98 for parts + labour to replace a power steering rack gaitor on my mk2 - told me they only came in pairs......ened up buying one from gsf for 9 odd.... avoid like the plauge unless you want to get ripped off!!!!
they do normally only come in pairs in my expierience and its normally worth doing both but 98+vat per hour! thats propper main dealer prices.... infact I think Listers VW in Coventry is quite near you and they dont charge that much! that said and done it was less than 30 min for sts in banbury to change both of mine after they ripped for the second time, tracked it up too.
You buy them individually and the VW ones are far better than the Febi etc ones - more plastic than rubber so last ages.
