I sold my corrado and drove it 40 miles to the new owners after we had locked / unlocked the car a few times the alarm stopped responding to the fob and the hazard lights flickered quickly , i could only stop this by turning the ignition on and off, we put it down to the fob batteries being low as i havent used the car much in the last year. he drove me home then a couple of hours later i got a call he has got new batteries and still unable to use the fob

is there an internal battery in this alarm or could it be the car battery low on power, i am feling bad now i am in luton the car is at the new owners mums near the m25 j17 and he to go home to bournemouth today in the car

    anyone got any clues
