Hi all, after years away I'm going to be back in a Vento!

Is this club still active? I used to be on Edition38, and can't seem to find any groups in Facebook??

Be good to get in amongst it again

Welcome. This (to me at least) is the most active non facebook forum for VWs. It aslo has some very knowledgeable members.

Believe Edition38 closed down a couple of years ago.

Welcome E38 closed (you can still buy merch on the E38 site under shop) and on FB. All alive and kicking here.

VAG has also used the name since, for a Polo derivative. Rather than 'Derby', as I see it.

There aren't many, though they weren't all that numerous to begin with; the traditional saloon was already out of favour by the early 90's. Twice I've been asked 'What kind of car is that?' about mine.

Sorry, I'm such a luddite that I don't have any camera facilities. It's a '95 1.6 'L', a trim level I hadn't heard of before seeing it listed for sale (though the data label actually says 'CL'). Fjord Blue, with what's called the P2 grille.

Welcome @Dougie and yes as you may be able to tell we're still fairly active around these parts [:D]

Vento is an interesting choice, how did you come to own it and what are your plans?
