Arrive at the workshop for the evening shift to find the place has been burgled..
fekkers have stolen the laptop I use for flashing cars, vagcom lead, charger for laptop, digital camera, and nokia 6500 slide phone.

broke a window, opened latch, squezed their sorry **** thru the bars and stole my gear. The only window not welded shut Welded all the fekkers now tho!

    ****ing ******s

Tried to jemmie their way thru the fire exit door-failed
Tried to Jemmie their way into the office-failed

    had away me stuff.

Cops and soco been and had a good look, some evidence found.. unlikely to catch the scallies..

Watch out on ebay for the items listed if you can and tip me the nod if a same seller is selling Advent laptop, and those other items also

all this happened between 5pm when jan left the workshop, and 6.45pm when I got there.

Bad times Bill and very sorry to hear. Thought it looked pretty well secured up from all the work done.

Is that the full list up there to be on the lookout for, or is there more to add?

    Sorry to Hear that Bill.

My advice would be to get down to your local cash converter type place and have a root round and ask if any Laptops matching your have turned up. Working in Retail I know that alot of the time anything stolen it heads straight to somewhere that will give them quick and easy cash. Cash Converters seem to not worrry about whether it has just been stolen or not.

You could argue that asking at Cash converters would be a Police job once you have in formed them, but I would question whether they actually would.

    Sorry to hear that, Bill.

Must have been sat watching the place. Any local businesses or buildings with CCTV cameras?

Feel gutted for you Bill. Hoped you had the laptop backed up. Why would they steal a vagcom lead?
Hope this all works out and you recover.

there is majority of data backed up yea, but there's always installations which you cant backup for software etc..

my data is coming back to me today hopefully to spend the next zillion hours reinstating things onto my other laptop. same laptop had a HDD failure only 2 weeks ago and was a restored version.. now stolen.. FFS its never ending.

    Sorry to here Bill

did they cause any other damage (vandalism) if not sounds like if they've taken specific kit they must have been watching the business or looking on the net etc.

Would get CCTV Fitted its a good deterrent if anything

gutting. makes my **** boil that this sort of thing is acceptable to some people. i suppose they were hoping for a healthy stock of go-faster-parts to pinch but how the fook were they planning to get that through some bars..

i can see it now, one twunt passing spark plugs individually through the bars to another twunt

Real nightmare little gits are always getting into our compound causing damage. You have more chance of growing female parts than the police catching them from our experince hope they do though.

Oh sh*t..sorry to hear this Bill.
Unlikely they'll be caught, sadly...let's just hope the theiving scum die a long and painful death...and you can pick up where you left off with the minimal amount of disruption.
