Just find it funny that people are still discussing the seat sport unit when ours is clearly more superior.
I will go back into the shadows now.

nice bit of kit, but pricey esp once improted over here into the UK or europe and you have been stung for tax, whats the benefit of yours over say a backdrfat one other than yours is shallower...as unless you have a slammed show car your sump wont be scraping the floor... and if it is slammed you wont be hammering it enough on track or on the road to warrnet a baffled sump over a oe shallow sump..

Besides the fact that it is a true engineered trap door design which removes the OEM constraints associated with a cast oil pan.Not to gloat but you will not find a better oil pan on the market.
At the end of the day the Seat Sport oil pan and others are still just OEM cast pans with fins welded into them. One bad ice patch or rock and there goes your investment.

Our oil pan will BEND not crack. Also our trap doors as you can see are extremely rigid and wont come apart.

That's a valid point, Issam, but in all the years of driving I've done and with over 3,000 miles of track driving, I've never smacked a sump, even over an apex kerb.

I have seen one of Issams oil pans first hand.

Theryre certainly worth the money quality wise, and I know there certainly wasn't any oil surge after fitting it! - Depends on your budget and needs really... As sid this is a custom application designed specifically for the task.

I have used a Seat Sport replica myself and didnt have a problem either.

Wonder if a group buy could be sorted , the import mega fee would be exicing !?

It does look some fun kit , i like the idea of stock ones that are baffled coz it looks nice and OE'd , but who needs stock looks when this is made four serious track stuff by the looks of it ,

problem is an OE pan will never perform like this.
I can arrange a GB if there are enough interested people involved.

iv done this to my standard sump (Audi S3 engine K04 -023)

thats 30mph over a raised manhole cover

    no cracks no leaks

interested in your sump but its expensive.. my car is low, but im not so bothered about baffled as my car will never see a track. cant you manufacture a cheaper alternative thats just a stronger version of the OEM item ???

    Hi Issam

Do you still have the deal on for these baffled sumps I saw on facebook? If so are they shallower than the original?
