    I know but still.

Tell you what though, I do see more Red MK2s than any other colour.

Will be interesting to see what is achieved with THE BIG GTI for the 40th anniversary of the GTI at inters.

    HI All
Even though i own a brilliant black metallic 90 spec mk2 golf my vote goes for Helios blue metallic.
My old mk1 gti campaign was in this colour and looks amazing when clean and the sun hits it and the colour really suits the mk2 as well.

I have to go with red. My Syncro is Tornadored, what a color. The 91 MK2 is blue and meh and the 85 MK2 is yellow which is cool but also annoying sometimes.

Yep I love the reds as they really suit the Mk2 however due to very high sunshine hrs and extreme UV Tornado red for example turns pink when it fades in my country.
We get huge amounts of import JDM Vag cars here and even the late stuff fails as the paint wasn't that good when they were shipped out here.
My Corrado is B7V so metallic black and is a huge PITA as the clearcoat just burns up as I have found out ,silver colours fare a but better because not as dark so for my situation Alpine White is the winner for me as it looks fresh and is so easy to touch up .
Modern single pack has improved a lot but it comes down to colour choice but really wouldn't buy another black car if I had that option that I didn't have with the Corrado.
