best way to fit a oil catch tank to a mk3 agg gti

    best way to fit a oil catch tank to a mk 3 i was told it was this way see picture

    but the catch tank i have has no breather filter to vent out

    It's a toyosports one all it has is 2 pipe fittings
    I will post a pick of it

    I don't know if it would work right having pressure coming from the crank and rocker

    Hm.. I see. I'm not sure about that mate but i don't think it's going to be a problem. You can place another pipe on it though if you want

    heres my catch tank

    now i am thinking running both crank & rocker hoses to it as is
    or should i run both to in using a y piece so they go to one of the inlets on the catch tank and put a mini filter on the other

    If you plumb it into the inlet then you may as well not have one, the point of them is to avoid warm, unmetered air going into the inlet, so definitely blank off the inlet if you are going to fit one. I'd imagine your catch tank is designed to have a small stub of hose on one of those tubes, with a filter on the end. I reckon you would be best off leaving the 'ufo' (including the black box that covers it) on the top of your rocker cover, keep the crankcase pipe connected to it, but route the other pipe, the outlet, to our catch tank.
