Big End Bearings

    Hi,

    Can anyone help me out with a guide or advice on replacing the big end bearings on a 2.0 lump (2E).

    Please help as im driving a volvo now...[:^(]

    ALL help, views or details on your experiences greatly appreciated!

    Tighten everything to correct torque settings!!

    keep everything spotlessly clean, assemble with lots of clean engine oil in all the bearings, get a decent torque wrench, and replace the rod bolts as theyre stretch bolts (o and theyre dealer only and about 6 each.

    torque settings are 30Nm then angle tighten 90 degrees.
