not keen on the new look myself so far, but you never know with the right wheels and other bits it could look cool,

just not nice to see your favourite ever mk2 golf being messed about with like that.

Think they both look pretty nasty to be honest

 

I don't think you can really compare old with new until the new one is complete. With the right set of rims, trim etc I reckon it'll look just as stunning as in it's previous guise.

Oh, and the reason that the new owner has redone Ron's old shell is something to do with regulations as he couldn't get type approval for a shell that didn't have a VR6 as standard whereas Ron had gone through all the regulatory stuff to have his shell properly approved. (or something to that effect)

Different set of rims to fill out the arches and I think it will look pretty tough!

 

IMO it looks poo. Really liked it before, now it looks nothin special. why someone would choose to paint a car in that colour is beyond me....

 

I have done sh1ts that are a better colour than that!
