I just realised that I don't know the password for the second hand Clifford Blackjax 4 unit I bought from Ebay.
And of course I cannot get it touch with the guy that sold it to me since its been a while.

    Any solution to that?

If you don't know the code you will need to plug the alarm into a PC using Clifnet Wizard.
Put the alarm in Valet mode using the alarm pad and then connect to the PC. this should then allow you to see and change your valet code and Black Jack code.

if you don't have the lead and software you will need to go and see your local Clifford dealer.

What do you mean on the old software? Certain versions will not work?

the original wizard soft ware would let you change settings on G4 stuff without knowing valet code. you now can't get into a G4 system, with the current software, without knowing the valet code.

I will have a look at what software i am using.
The software i have will not let you connect without the alarm being in Valet mode but this can be done via the remote if you dont know the code.
I have not used the new software so i am not sure how it works.
I will try and see how big the program is and see if i can email it.

It does providing the alarm is in valet mode.
    I had a similar problem.
I got a second hand aventgard 4 alarm and did not have the valet code. used the clifnet wizard software to change my code. (used the remote to put the alarm in valet mode)
