I have one of the generic BT GPS jobbies and it works fine. Check this out for a couple of hints: http://www.bluetoothgpstips.com/Configuration_Instructions.h tml
for something that important to me, not that I do much driving I got a Holux 236, using the latest type receiver. lasts all day & picks up 7-8 satellites as a time cost bit more than 40 but worth it Just turned on the Tom Tom and checked it, picking up 12 satellites currently Edited by: Crispy 8V
Sat Nav is a God send if you've just relocated, like me. It is especially useful if you're 'a few sheets to the wind' and need someone to help you get home. "Turn left. Take the third exit at the roundabout. Take the next left. Destination reached". All with the eyes firmly closed. One has to test this technology, and to date, it hasn't failed me.
