    I'm thinking a Tdi (115 or 130 bhp)

    with:

    smooth bumpers
    slammed on coilovers
    17 or 18" wheels...post TT comps?
    badgless grill
    chipped
    full zorst

    then more no doubt!

If I had my money over again, Id' have the v5, can be picked up for pennies (compared to many)

The V5 sound is just RAW. [:D] [8D]

I LOVE the Boras. [:D]

There used to be a guy on here called SiVWW or something like that - had a mint silver Bora TDI on Azev A's. Looked superb IMHO!

Drove my brother's gf Bora TDi for a couple of days when she went away, nice and comfy interior and very economical, felt like a junior executive driving it [:$] :) .

But don't expect the fun factor though, still, a nice day to day car I reckon.

edit: another thing as well, from one of the lad who had a V5 Bora said the MPG are horrendous and the car ain't that fast either.

I've got a 2.0 sport. Not quick but quick enough. Nice on motorways. Is basically the same car as the 2.0 golf GTI but 4 less on the old insurance group. [:D]

may well be...but then its in germany, where you can buy bora estates, so why would someone buy a golf estate and have it converted when you can buy the real thing hassle free???? ;)
