Is there anyway to trasfer my iTunes from one Macbook to another? or should I take it all off the old Macbook and put it on a harddrive then transfer it to the new Macbook from the harddrive?
Just the music? If you can get them on the same network you can share the drive on the old machine, and just copy it straight over.
Ignore this. I thought you were transfering from PC to Mac. Check my post below about using the migration assistant.
Thanks guys, I'll try it when I get home. But I'll probably be back on here asking for help as I'm not very savy with computers in general. I love my Mac's and iPods and shuffles and iPhones and iMacs edit: oh and iPad
Skim reading. I didnt realise at first that you wanted to transfer from one Macbook to another. Use migration assistant. Explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4413
What Deako said. You should have told me you were buying one. I do work there y'know. Which model did you go for? I've been thinking about a Macbook Air to replace my old black MacBook, not that there's anything wrong with it...
Yeah I'm not sure what exact model but I do know it's a 17" Macbook pro. I still haven't had a chance to do what Deako said as we've just moved house and wont have internet untill tomorrow. I do know you work there but didn't want to bother you with my dumb questions Mike
17" - a monster! Click on the Apple Logo in the top left of your screen, and select 'About this mac'. It'll give you a load of detail on the spec. Did you buy it new or used?
It's not that I get a discount, it's just cheaper to you guys because we pay in american dollars but usually once a year the Macs on base go on sale
