Well I put new vented disks and pads on the front of my driveryesterday and the brake fluid level is now above the max line.

This is just because fluid was forced out of the calipers when I was winding them back but do I need to siphon some fluid out now?

or is it OK to leave the fluid above the mark until the pads wear down a bit??

    thanks

It is because the pistons are further into the calipers, displacing the fluid.

You`re best off taking some out, if it`s too high it could cause the brakes to bind (unlikely but possible).

I'd be interseted to hear your reasoning behind that?

I'd leave it unless it's so high it's likely to leak out the top of the cap.
