Just renewed my insurance with these guys! Such a breath of fresh air to have a normal conversation with someone who

    a) actually speaks english

    b) knows what a car is. Spoke to so many insurers who haven't got an effin clue. For example, "whats a turbo, is that some type of exhaust" :o and that was from a 'specialist' performance insurer.

    c) beat every other quote i got by miles!

    Me too, excellent service.
When i told them about my K&N & drilled airbox they actually knew what I was talking about & didn't consider it a modification that would increase the premium. Can you imagine that from Directline?

Same here, they knew all about the turbo techics golfs and asked if it was still the original 180bhp.

more good feedack here. John offered a valuation based on photos and didnt have an issue with a wheel change mid year either. the 'light mods' understanding is an area the other so called specialists could learn from. didnt like the phone attitude with other firms either.
renewal note on the scala just in and its actually a little bit cheaper than last year!

yea my understanding is that they let you do whatever you want to the styling, suspension, wheels, brakes, exhausts etc, (as long as you keep them informed) and the only limit they put on you is increasing the bhp. On my 1.8 8v I can increase it to 120bhp, then i guess id have to pay a bit more on my premium. Sounds like a good system to me :)

Phone number? I'll give these a whirl at renewal as my company ripped me of this year.

Just called them as my renewals coming up, a pleasure to speak to. Unlike any other insurance company I have rung, infortunately couldn't beat my current quote but to be fair I had a pretty cheekily cheap quote as I haggled it alot!

A nice experience though and I'd recommend anyone to try them for a quote.
