Are wishbone bushes particularly prone to going then? Would you do the ARB at same time?

    Good guide here: http://www.cliff1978.toucansurf.com/car/wishbone.doc

    Good info. Cheers.

Any advice on upgrading the dogbone mount? I have read a lot of contradictory stuff about it.

I'm yet to do my dog bone, but when I do I'm going to replace it with a Poly one. A mate changed his to a poly bone and said its much stiffer and reduces engine movement.

Also if you do the ARB bushes I would also replace the clips with the new style, again cheap and worth doing.

This! Do not polybush any engine mounts on a diesel unless you like having your fillings rattled loose! Rear axle bushes are a common failure as well, the new ones are a different design and last far longer

just got my first Anni , and I am well chuffed with it , 02 plate 1.8t , spotless paintwork and interior , fsh , needs 2 x new front tyres , goes like a train ! and i used to own a mk4 r32 .
I have one issue with it and i'm looking for help / guidance , the bbs wheels are mint but the centre caps on a couple of them have corroded and the vw badges on them all have faded , what is the best thing to do? buy new replacements ? if so where from , and i read on hear there are different colours also o further confuse matters .
or to get them refurbed , again if so , where ? I am in Peterborough .
