    Halfrauds sell them.

On a Mk3 (I don't know if Mk2 is the same), it's difficult to get a decent grip on the nut with an offset spanner. What we did is to buy a cheap 22mm socket, cut it down and grind two flats into it to use with mole grips.

I have used an old socket before with some Stillsons! :o

But with the Spax coilies the strut is held be another 8mm spanner, not on an allen key like std. shocks.

    Hence needing the offset ringer.

Might be best with the cut down socket arrangement and an 8mm socket through the middle, if it'll fit?

I ground down the sides of an offset ring spanner to fit, but a socket works too.

No idea. GVK has a set of the 'proper' tools I think, so no doubt he'll be able to advise!

Spark plug socket, you can put a 22mm spanner on the top, put an allen key through the middle..
Youll need to extend the allen key somehow though..

Mart... have you lost the ability to read?

I don't have an allen socket on the top of the struts as thats where the damping adjuster is.. it's an 8mm spanner job instead.
