the output is on ur rears, fade it back to center , then setup the sound using the small pot on ur amps.
Hello sir Right on the headunit there are two in dash there tweeters i think then two in front doors two way i think four at back tweeters at top and speakers at bottom two way i think as well i've got two 10in kenwood subs in vibe box I know for sure the amp is wired to the subs right it's just this poxy rear instead or aux that i'm puzzled about The guy reckons that the unit is not modern enough for what i'm running on it and a more modern unit would sort it he wasn't trying to sell me another unit cos i only asked for advice cheers
tub i've even managed to get the instruction manual from kenwood that i can send you if it helps i think i'm gonna get the new one anyway hopefully it will have a sub output like my mates sony want to stay with kenwood as until now never had any trouble and it will plug straight in but i am a bit worried in case i bugger the new one
Tubs sorry to bother you again, but i got homw last night and unplugged the amp leads and got my bass back in me car speakers Any idea's as i've ordered a new headunit now and want to make sure everything is right before plugging it in cheers
Mate dont listen to the geezer saying that youre head unit is too old ,thats bull !!!. If you got signal coming out then the head unit is fine, ifthe sound coming out is a bit crackley then youre amp is the culprit (blown). If you still have doubts can you not ask one of youre mates whos got a kenny to lend it to you just for testing ,as most kenny connection plugs are the same. I think the problem is one of settings on either the amp or the head unit.Is it possible youve accidently set the amp on to high pass & not low pass.
just an update, have fitted my new kenwood and all is well at the inn was my other headunit causing the probs but now it's sounding schweeeeet!!!!!
