Ok its all in now and im just wandering about the Washer bottle- ideally id like to use the the 4ltr bottle from the Mk2 16V on the passenger side inner wing- moved the water pipe over and the plug but what have you lot used to fix the bottle to the inner wing??? Ive heard you can you the rear water bottle brack from the Boot off of a Mk1??? Also my Hazards light dont work? Ive tried changing the switch but still no go the indicator light on the dash comes on but doesnt blink and nor do the hazards? ANy ideas? Could it be the fuse box as the indicators work so cant be the relay???

I used the original and mounted it in front of the alternator on its original type mounting bracket. It stopped it from freezing in the winter. I couldnt mount it where DWs is because of the fuel pipes, fuel filter and adjustable brake bias valve.
There's 2 water bottles listed for the mk1, part no. for the one that sits on the n/s as in darrenW sig is 171 955 453L, you'll need the cap and washer too which don't come with the bottle, I think mine cost about 20 for everything.
It's not a mk2 bottle, came as standard on the later model caddys ASFAIK, fits straight into a mk1 on an original mk1 mount, don't know how much it holds, definately not 4l though.
