Hi there, I just sorted out a wide track conversion on my Mk2 Jetta 16v Track car and was wondering what a good starting point would be for the front camber and toe.

The car was running approx -2 degrees camber and straight line running on the toe. The car was not using the inside of the tyre fully so I think I need to run more negative camber.

This is the cars suspension spec:-
Spax RSX coil overs, std Spax purple springs.
    Eibach ARBs
I use both road tyres and Toyo R888s.

    All help is greatly received.
    Philip.

the perfect alignment can only really be acheived after doing some testing with tire temps and such

a good friend an hardcore vw racer friend of mine suggested about -1.5 camber, and a 1/16th toe out for a street driven/track setup on DOT tires. of course this is simply a starting point. I run this on my mk1 and it works pretty well for most stuff, but i havnt hit the road course and done any testing yet.
