Can this be used with my jenvey throttle body set-up using DTA management? I was thinking I could use this instead of using a crank trigger wheel etc etc.
    Any info would be great.

    Cheers.

Dizzy half speed so would have to generate 2 pulses per rev.
Accuracy poorer due to slop in the x shaft gears and dizzy bearings.
    Should work ok.
I would go for a crank trigger wheel though, as the teeth count allows the ECU to more accurately measure (rather than time: subtle difference but real) the areas before TDC where the spark advance will need to go.
Hope this helps and provokes some discussion. I'm not sure how DTA use the toothed wheel signal, however some clever possibilities exist (from my turbine control experience....)

Thankyou Jon, appreciated. I thought it might have been a better option than the trigger wheel and peugeot coil pack option. I guess I will just stick to what I have then. Never seen the above set-up, stumbled across it in ebay.

As Jon says, it's better to use a crank trigger wheel to measure where the crank is.
