Sound impressive but, as you say, at a cost!

Not sure about CF on wheels. On my Mountain Bike I tried a CF handlebar and it flexed a lot.

    that is awesome.

there's so many variables i really wouldn't tar a set of motorsport wheels with the same brush as a set of handle bars... compared to them i have no doubt it's a completely different type of carbon, different resin, different lay up (orientations)... and no doubt an absolute shed load of testing!

hmm wonder if they make 15s

Yea OK, its probably not the best comparation.

But if F1 or any other motorsport I know of dont use them, gives me what to think about.....

    CF flexes, thats a fact

CF is actually used in a lot of applications because if its stiffness.

Its all in the design...it does flex if load it across the fibres rather than along them.

Aaah, that's right, I thought I had seen them somewhere.

    EDIT:

Nope, different company, these are badged as Designtek, although they could be rebadged.

They are used in some motorbike racing (outlawed in some though)
I had a lap of the ring on a gsxr fitted with BST full carbon wheels (not just the rims like the above) made quite a difference compared to standard but didn't justify the 2k price tag imho.
    Look great though :p
