    Hi

New to VW and i am trying to fit a CE2 fusebox and looms into a MK1 that had a CE1.

Got most of it sorted, but i am stuck on the temp sensor for the clocks coming from plug G2 now. The vehicle's temp sensor has 2 pins and the loom hasonly the one (yel\red) wire going there.

Where would the 2nd wire to the sensor come from?

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

If anyone has a link to guides on this conversion, i would greatly appreciate.

    earth :)

if it has to be 100% OEM, the way VW do it is run the wire from F/4. theres also a crimped joint near the fusebox on the F/4 wire with a spade on it going up to the earth claw, this provides the earth for the claw. on the mk1 the claw earth comes from the whitre 4 way earth block near fusebox, which isnt there on CE2 instead the battery earth goes straight to Z/2
