My central locking is becoming painfully slow and I could probably walk round and lock everything by hand in the time it takes it to do it automatically.

Is this a pump problem and is there any way to "spruce" it up a bit?
I thought of removing load from it by oiling every moving part in sight...but am guessing after 15 years of service it may be something else.

    any thoughts

once the first time and has'nt worked since so it may
    be faulty [:s]

Check for air leaks on pipe's where they go through the door's.My mate had a simalar problem on his Audi A4 and it turned out it had a slight leak on one of the central locking acctuators. You just need to listen very carefully after you've opperated the central locking ;)

Ok my problem seems to have someting to do with the
switch because if i unplug the pump and plug it in again
it seems to reset its self and it'll lock once but not unlock ?

Any ideas is the barrel the problem ?

It's probably got a faulty acctuator on the drivers side then.
