Central locking

Right people I have a MK3 GTI and when I set the alarm which locks all the doors the door pins go down and the alarm sets but if you try and open the doors they open so arnt locking.

Any ideas whats wrong with it????

What about if you lock by the key - doors shut or open still? (I'm guessing open)

 

Tried that mate still the same outcome

 

If you pull off the door cars you'll probably find the wire that connects to the door pin wire has come un-attached.

If thats not the case your locks may be buggered.
