not quite, maybe a inch off to the right? might be to do with the twin box and the underneath of the mk1?

 

never mind the exhaust, wtf is a 1992 K plate doing on a mk1???

Not out by as much as it first looks though, I think maybe the offset number plate is making a bit of an optical illusion...

Blue tail lights are weird, and is it just me or is the tailgate lock higher up than normal? What's all that about?

yes it does seem a little high, if you had gone to the trouble of taking the badges off, why not the wiper? which is also a minging "chrome" item
