    HELP!!!

    Hi all,

Does anyone know how easy or hard it is to change a coilover?? i have got avo's all around and the nearside rear has a SERIOUS FLUID LEAK as they describe it... Also Avo said they can do a refurb for 30 or a new one for 110... i would like to do the refurb but dont know whether or not i can keep the car without one for a week...

    Any suggestions??

Very easy to replace even for newbie mate.

19mm nut on top and 15mm spanner and socket required to release from the rear beam (obviously needs to be jacked).

Refurb sounds nicest/cheapest option, I'd probably get both rears done at same time to keep them matched.

get a couple of standard shocks temp for a while, should be able to find someone breaking a mk2/mk3 around these ways

It does seem with Avo's when one goes they all do, still 30pounds for a refurb is very reasonable, I bought my Avo's just after Avo refurbed them and there spot on.
