I bought a chargecooler, fitted it today but the pump doesn't work. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement for a good price? It's a 12v DC Inline Pump, 15l/min 0.5 bar I have heard that the auxiliary water pump (electric one) from a VR6 might do the job. Can anyone give me the spec of this please and where to get one? Try jabbasport.com I think mine cost 25 quid or if you fancy spending a few more pennies?,try burtonpower.com for a pukka one and that costs around 90.
Thanks for the info vwturbo. I phoned Jabbasport about fitting the chargecooler, they said they don't do it anymore. I suppose there's a chance they have a pump lying around somewhere though. Couldn't find what I wanted on Burton Power website!!
Jabba's pump's were caravan drinking water pumps. cost about 25 from a caravan dealers. You will need a 3v inline resistor because the pump was'nt meant to be on for long periods Lee
agh my pump has stopped working as well!! you guys had any luck with the replacement pump? Cheesebager is your a jabbasport charger? mine is! lol
mk1g60turbo - my chargecooler is a Jabbasport one I got one a day later from my local caravan dealer Exactly the same make, spec and everything Cost me 22 I have an email address of a mail order place that also found one for me eglinton-caravan@btconnect.com They priced it at 21.95 Hope this helps
